VIDEO RESOLUTION

In the car recorders it is usually FULL HD 1920x1080px, HD 1280x720px, VGA 640x480px.

WIDE ANGLE LENS

view angle from 90 degrees to a maximum of 170 degrees – allows you to register a wider perspective in front of the vehicle hood.

NIGHT VISION

the camera has IR LEDs that allow you to record images even in complete darkness (range up to 10 meters). The registered image is monochrome.

NIGHT-VISION DEVICE MODE

Very good visibility both at night and in complete darkness, thanks to the combination of IR LEDs and software image brightness improvement.

BUILT-IN MICROPHONE

It records sound, in car cameras you can enable or disable sound recording. When recording without sound, the file size is reduced, which allows you to record longer material.

BUILT-IN SPEAKER

Sonic signals of pressed keys, playback of recorded movies with sound. Due to technical limitations, the playback of the recorded material in the device should be treated only as an overview.

PC CAMERA MODE

Some models of car cameras may be used as a simple webcam during video-calls (e.g. Skype), after connecting a USB wire to a computer / laptop.

LOOP RECORDING

One of the main and most important features of car cameras, enabling this function allows you to set the length of recording of individual video materials (2 min, 3 min, 5 min, 10 min depending on the model). Disabling this option will cause continuous video recording (not recommended), however, please note that the maximum movie length is limited by the size of the 2GB file resulting from file format limitations.

MEMORY CARD MAINTENANCE

Trans Flash ie popular micro SD cards also used in mobile phones. It is recommended to use Class 10 cards. If the recorder does not recognize the memory card, try a card with a different speed class.

MOTION DETECTOR

The camera, while in standby mode, analyzes the image and if it detects a sudden change of the image (i.e. motion), it starts recording, which lasts until the movement stops, plus a few seconds.

AUTOMATIC START

The recorder starts automatically and starts recording when the car ignition is switched on, and automatically turns off after switching off the ignition (with a few seconds delay).

INTERNAL BATTERY

The internal battery (not replaceable) has a small capacity (from 200mAh to 600mAh), it is used to provide power for several minutes after turning off the ignition.

G-SENSOR

It is a gravity sensor, used to detect collision or sudden braking. In this situation, the recorder will automatically protect the currently recorded file so that it is not overwritten or accidentally deleted.

SOS FUNCTION

Automatic protection of the currently recorded file against overwriting or accidental deletion, activated by pressing the appropriate key.

TAKING PICTURES DURING VIDEO RECORDING

During video recording, you can take a picture at any time without interrupting recording by pressing the appropriate key (the function is available on selected models).

PARKING MODE

The recorder in standby mode in the parked car – when the impact is detected (adjustable sensitivity), the camera starts recording.

LDWS – LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM

Lane departure warning system (some models).

FCWS – FORWARD COLLISION WARNING SYSTEM

Obstacle warning system in front of the vehicle (some models).
